Based on what this gentleman is carrying and his mode of dress, could be a painter. The framing is clever and as always with these kinds of images, exposure is compromised by the moment. But I sure don't miss that grey European Weather so common at this time of the year...

This is a great photo, with the subject of this street photo placed good. Though the sky is overburnt in the final result shown. I am sure that many things can be done to elevate the contrast without burning the sky above.

One good solution is to raise the midtones instead of the highlights, adjusting the shadows to a lower level also. A second one would be if the original shot was in RGB to split the photo in R/G/B channels of black and white so you can choose what channel has a better aesthetic luck :-)

The overall blacks and whites in the areas are aesthetically placed well and equally balanced. The clothes of the old man are a very good signature of an older time, and the wide angle makes this a more graphic view. Well done!
