henrimanguy 0 Posted November 24, 2004 During my morning walk in the fog along the canal of San Marco, I saw this man loading colored parcels in a boat. I found that it was a pretty image in that greyness and I took this shot (and three other). Perhaps could have I take a closer shot of the parcels but I would have been too near of the man and this is something I do not dare. That is why I prefer landscape photo. Landscapes don't say "go away!". Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted November 24, 2004 Henri, I also have shots of this boat! (or one very like it - crossing the laguna!) I know what you mean about getting too close to get a photo. I am not happy about uploading shots of recognisable people unless I have their permission. Good misty atmosphere! Link to comment
photos of hans koot 0 Posted November 26, 2004 These candy like colors work well in the soft light. Link to comment
mspanakis 0 Posted March 29, 2005 One of my favorites in this presentation. The fog works perfectly to harmonise the plastic (kitch) colours of the bags. I also like the way the buildings disappear in the horizon, and, of course, the excellent mouvement of the boat-worker. Bravo! Link to comment
