elly1664876496 0 Posted November 23, 2004 Hi Sondra! I love this - perfect timing! Might I suggest cropping out the door on the right and the newpaper machine on the left? IMO they are a little distracting. Congrats, Ellen Link to comment

r_e 0 Posted November 24, 2004 CR: Only at the second sight I became aware of your professional work of partial desaturation. That means the effect is really impressive! CL: Not nice of the dog not to keep still his tail! RE Link to comment
warren williams 0 Posted November 25, 2004 This is really cute. It's a very unusual shot and I think still worth doing a bit of work on. I'm not sure you've done it complete justice. I'd like to see it perhaps in b&w with a bit of an aged look. Still, it's pretty captivating. Warren Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted November 27, 2004 I tried B&W and sepia tone before I decided on partial desaturation. The partial desaturation looked far better as the dog is seen more readily. Sondra Link to comment

jmcconnell2 0 Posted March 6, 2005 I agree, this one really tells a story, I like the dog and the sign being in color, grabs the eye. But I also agree about the crop, I think the full window is all it needs. I rate this as is 6/6. If you were to crop and re-submit, it would surely be 7/7 in my humble opinion. Cheers! -Jim Link to comment
watermark_of_merni 14 Posted March 9, 2005 Wow this is perfect ! Just how I remember my dog waiting for my sister and I to come out with a treat. Which was always a vanilla ice cream cone. I like your whole composition, being able to read the surrounding is a plus for me. A part of history, so to speak. 7/7 Link to comment

alecee 0 Posted March 20, 2007 Love the composition Sondra, well seen. A liquor gussling dog? Who would have known.....^_^ Link to comment
jrickert 2 Posted April 5, 2014 Beautiful selective coloring. You even captured a slight blur indicating movement of the dog's tail. Possibly the dog's owner is inside. :) Link to comment
