The old Coolpix is proving useful for candids.

Unlike a Leica ( I once owned and used a Leica M2 for most jobs, with

a 35mm Summicron), I can now stand within punching distance whilst

looking pre-occupied, and most people ignore me which makes my job

easier.

Nice shot. It feels like they are peering right at me. I love to use the waist-level finder on my Bronica for the same reason you described...as long as you're not holding the camera up to your face, your subjects are often oblivious to the fact that you are shooting.
