exquisite...It reminds me of some sci-fi prehistoric scene. The only reason that I like this one (just a hair) better than the other is the diagonal in it. They are both quite awesome, though.

Yes, the lighting does evoke a feeling of a distant past or an equally distance future. I also agree that the diagonal lines really effective pull the viewer into the frame. Well conceived and executed.

Very beautiful picture! The colors are really wonderful. I would have loved to see the picture with the horizon in the lower 1/3 of the picture and more of the sky.

When one blanks off all of the little piece of distracting/jarring land sticking into the sea/lake, on the upper right, the composition becomes strict and clear, and in harmony. Colors un-natural, bland, dead, just as one would expect from experimental manipulated digits.
