Guest Guest Posted November 21, 2004 I would agree that this is an impressionist style, very nice. Link to comment
miles escow 0 Posted November 21, 2004 This photo just flies out of the screen at you, the colour and symmetry work well together. Did you use the noise to give a UV haze effect or just to cover your manipulations? Link to comment
jana 1 Posted November 22, 2004 MIles I used the noise to give the impressionist effect. The only manipulation prior to the noise was saturation of colours. The rest is done on film - slide (sandwitching). The whole PS manipulation was done in 1 minute. cheers jana Link to comment
jana 1 Posted November 22, 2004 Morning countryside in the SouthWest of Namibia, just below the Namib dunes. The film slide sandwitching is used + some PS work- In PS only the colour saturation and noise added (in PS - 1 minute work). Thank you for your comments jana Link to comment
hot74 0 Posted November 22, 2004 Jana, the result is a very pop-artish vibrant composition. But for my part, I would have preferred it if you just take the landscape as it was for the subject has its own distinct charms. Link to comment

wernher 0 Posted November 22, 2004 Jana, I'n not sure the noise works for me but this photo certainly pops out at you from the screen. I like the mirror effect and the light looks great. Well done. Link to comment
hot74 0 Posted November 23, 2004 Jana, I checked out the site briefly (pre-reg) and the last project feature of yours shows that you can do wonderful things with colors in a personal way. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 24, 2004 I really love this, but I prefer without noise.. Link to comment

joachim.wabnig 0 Posted May 8, 2005 The colors, the symmetry (of course it is artificial but who cares). You wrote you added noise. Why? I see it adds the impressionistic touch, but wouldn't clean colors be better? Link to comment
