Longneck Myanamr (burmese) refugees in North west thailand. the

rings push the shoulders down, they do not stretch the neck.

I read years ago in National Geographic I believe, that they do this so they can take the rings off and the women will die of asphyxiation if they are ever caught in adultery.

I like this image for its color. thanx for posting a comment on my first ever photonet posting....um, one suggestion, you shd crop just a fraction from the left to remove the dark line. it is distracting and easily removed. thanks again. p.s i have lived in myanmar for a yr and i think it is a beautiful country with very friendly, gracious people
