olbapvillar 0 Posted November 20, 2004 great image, specially because of the mixture of curiosity, seduction and a exotic model Link to comment
domo 0 Posted November 21, 2004 How strange it is to see that someone gave me a 3 on this one. I have to say that I am tring to seek honest opinions and that in relation to all the shots I've seen on Photonet I am certain about one thing... this is not a below average shot. May sound a bit proud but I call it as I see it. I think instead of posting ratings perhaps we could discuss the details of the images and how to better it. Let's talk model, styling, makeup, hair, lighting, composition, posing, exposure or something worthy of discussion. If we are to get better as photographers let's get down to it. stephen_wilson 0 Posted November 21, 2004 Chris, I agree this is not a below-average picture for this site. Don't get too worked up by the ratings - there are always going to be strange ones :-) Having said that, IMHO it's not a particularly good image either. My key concerns are the overly hot highlights on the models face - any reason for that? Also there is little definition in her eyes (the white I believe should be whiter). The background is distracting - particualrly the left corner highlight which seems to detract from the flow of the model. Her hair is very dull and lifeless (and I don't mean the style), her right arm is not showing, and the patterns on the cushions are 'busy' and also distracting because the left and right ones are different. There's a start - what do you think? Link to comment
jason tai 0 Posted November 21, 2004 The hotspot on the forehead is undesirable to me. What do others think? Good model. WOuld love to see the face more clearly. Link to comment
brendan_turner1 0 Posted November 21, 2004 I'm not sure if the clothing matches the style your shooting here. The soft cotton shirt and patterned couch vs. the cool hard, slick lighting. Both are good on their own, but brought together here are in a battle that makes me think "Meh." Nice light and pose though. and the model is looking fine! Link to comment

thomas semesky 0 Posted November 22, 2004 This one is also interesting. Not as good as the previous photo. The background is distracting. Link to comment
