4. portraits / fashion Young Girl - Big City

A simple picture but I feel it has a certain mood about it. Does anyone else get that feeling?

 

All feedback appreciated.

I really love the idea of this shot, and the layout, and the girl.

 

I just wish the background was less overexposed. But I know that's a hard thing to do.

 

You might have to resort to shooting two different exposures and stiching the two.

Beautiful, enough said.

David, it's a nice way to reveal HKG's modern beauty (skyline) and its tradition (her dress.) Nice composition. I certainly appreciate this. ^_^

This is cool. The subject, colour, and composition really make it look like a still from what I instinctively feel would be a classic sci-fi film.

I must admit the sci-fi element had escaped me until now. I will look at this photograph in a different light now.

I agree with most of what has already been said, but was drawn to this photo because I have many asian movies which include the buildings on the left and have always loved them. They are so unique and would love to see someone do a series of photos on them. Some time in the future I have to get to that city! Great photo as always.

Thanks for the visit. You might like to look at the work of Hugo P who photographs Hong Kong a lot. I am sure one or two buildings will crop up there.
