Atmosfigure

Interested to know if people see the same thing I did in this shot.

I know you're wanting people to focus on the sky, but I find sky pictures to be 'off' somehow if I don't see a horizon - especially if it's so close (you can tell from the colors at the bottom). Unless it's really distracting (like a city scape or something), I'd like to see it included.

Also, Eric Fredine's portfolio has enlightened me as to the appeal of square cropping. I think this shot might be more focussed and striking in a square crop...

 

As for shapes in the clouds? The bottom center part looks like a hand coming up. And the middle part looks like a dog's (or other animal's)snout. What did you see?

Yeah this isnt really one of my faves but thought it was interesting... I see a head (the sun), and two arms, one with a big long index finger and the other coming across the face :)
