Curtiss, that orange rectangle is the start of a field on which the name of the advertising company is written. I think this kind of 'imperfection' makes a picture like this more eye-catching (but not necessarily more beautiful), although either I could have removed it digitally, or cut off the feet of the statue by cropping just above the upper limit of the orange rectangle. Thanks for your critique!
