I do appreciate your constructive critical comments.

This is the second picture of a new folder I am creating with the pictures I took this spring and summer in Andalusia, in southern Spain.

Some of you know that I am, also, documenting the castles of Spain. The pictures taken of Andalusian castles are in my Castle's folder

Wow thats nice. Id hang this on my wall. My only personal preference would be to not have the guy in there, but he could be removed fairly easily. Also looks like youve lost some contrast down the bottom left somehow? I like the framing of the trees and the tonal range, angle and shapes. Great stuff. 6/6

I like very much the view and scene and house with the man in the middle, but kinda needs more black contrast. Thank you, Biliana

The reason for the loss of contrast in that corner is due to the very sombre shadow in the original negative. I did try to get out as much info as I could but to the detriment of quality, I'm afraid.

As for the guy, some would think that's an essential element. Matter of tastes, I guess!

Hi Alberto,

Yes definitely, I can see how some people would think the guy is a must have. Looking at it again (and tweaking it, hope you dont mind) I think what further bugs me about the guy is his placement in the scene, he's up against a distracting background and too far away to boot. His black pants perfectly line up with the hedge behind him. Anyway, Ive done a quick levels/noise removal on the black areas, you could do a really good job of it if you needed to. The guy is missing now too hehe, forgive me! :) Cheers again.

This is arguably one of your very best B&W images in this series. I don't mind the presence of the man either. Wonderful range of tones and striking contrasts. Excellent shot, Alberto. Best regards, Chris
