colecaj 0 Posted November 18, 2004 When combining the images for the shot, why did you keep the gantry/industrial structure on the left? Without that distraction, the image would be much stronger. Link to comment
osvaldo carbuccia 0 Posted November 19, 2004 Thanks for your inquiry because it gives me the chance to explain the reason for keeping the factory in that picture and the others. That industrial structure is a Concrete producer that pour all their wastes to a nearby river, making it die slowly but sure. But they are always denying it. In this picture (and the others where the factory and the cemetery appear) I express the dead of the river with the gravestones. Thanks again for your time . Link to comment

etan_lightstone 0 Posted November 21, 2004 I've been experimenting with taking seperate exposures for sky and ground, and "blending" them together in PS. Could you details the steps you took in this one? Check out my example pasted below. (I'm new at it) Link to comment
osvaldo carbuccia 0 Posted November 29, 2004 Blending sky and foreground is almost a frustrating job, specially when there's folliage in the foreground. In this case I blended two shot of the same scene, one normal and the other with an IR filter. But, both images containing the same scene, with the same lens, only changing exposure time to compensate the factor of the IR filter. Link to comment
