wingell 0 Posted November 17, 2004 Here's an image from Binghamton's holiday parade--taken with a new 200mm 2.8 IS zoom. The lens is awesome; now I just need a pack mule to haul it around. Your comments and critiques always appreciated. Cheers...Bill Link to comment
thomas semesky 0 Posted November 21, 2004 Nothing too exciting here. I've been seeing a lot of photo's on this board where the subject is just staring out into space with no expression on there faces. Link to comment
Alex_Es 388 Posted April 3, 2007 Actually, this is one of the shots in this series that grabbed me immediately. Something is going on in this shot. The American flag, blurred, is the Chekhovian touch that sends this photograph over the top. The flag and the expression on her face--plus the other Chekhovian touch, the heavy (and tacky) eyeshadow-- is a bit scary. Are we looking at a True Believer? Of course we don't know. Anyway, is a very well composed shot, well worth lugging that huge zoom lens. Link to comment
