bruce_jackson2 0 Posted November 17, 2004 Centering the opening on the frame and the fog create some visual interest but I other than that my eye isn't drawn to anything. It isn't a bad picture but there is some missed potential. I probably whould have shot with a wider lens and cropped the sides to get more road, cars, and bridge. I don't like the way everything is chopped off. Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted November 17, 2004 Bruce, thanks for the comments. I am glad that you pointed out the cropping. I also feel that I have cropped it too tight. The original picture is actually in landscape format, not vertical. I'll try to work on the original again and let you know what it will look like. Link to comment
axelg 3 Posted November 17, 2004 Despite the lamp I love your shot very much. At last some original sight on the Golden Gate! I like this flow of cars and the evanescent pillar. Link to comment
quixote0 0 Posted December 11, 2004 I actually like the crop on this. I like the way that the lines intersect and the bowing toward the middle. The fog gives a bit of depth. Over-all, quite nice. ~A Link to comment
