Elm in Winter

I like this picture and much of your other landscape work also.

The snow seems a little on the gray side. Did you go with the camera's automatic exposure? I've read many articles and found out for myself that sometimes it's a good idea to bump up the exposure a notch because the bright snow can cause the camera's reading to be a tad bit low.

It's a really nice shot nonetheless and I like the composition in this one especially.

The 'lightness' of the snow really boils down to personal taste. in this case, lighter snow might have looked nice, but i would not have bumped up the exposure because of the effect on the sky. the blue tone here is just right, IMO.
