Very nice! In the "Details" it indicates you used a UV filter. Is that true? I thought you earlier had trouble with rings from the filter.

Yes I have used an UV filter. And now I Know that when shooting aurora that we must never use a filter. Yes the trouble with rings was due from using a filter. The photo of the 'blue' aurora was done without a filter.

I'm hoping you will not mind but as this is something very rarely seen from the UK, I thought I would attempt at degraining and enhance your photo a little for you. Please let me know if my alterations please you.
