chris_conrad 0 Posted November 13, 2004 Thanks for looking at this. I'd appreciate your feedback. I think I will also post a cropped version in this same folder. cc Link to comment

steve_chong 0 Posted November 14, 2004 Excellent perspective, how did you scan your image? Link to comment
chris_conrad 0 Posted November 15, 2004 I use an Epson 3200 flatbed. Most of the time I scan at 3200dpi for 6x7 transparencies--that gives me enough MegaPixels to print a 16x20 @ 360dpi. If I have difficult lighting, I will scan at 16-Bit, but this image was scanned at 8-Bit, 3200dpi. cc Link to comment
WJT 624 Posted November 20, 2004 Great photograph Chris...medium format at its best! In the Tech Details you mention that you used a 45mm f2.8 lens. I have the 45 as well but it is an f4. Is that a typo or do you know something that I don't? Regards. Link to comment
chris_conrad 0 Posted November 20, 2004 Indeed my lense is f4.0. When I "Added a new lens" in the Photo.net database, someone else had already enterered 45mm, F2.8, and I mistakenly clicked that option. I've just never gone back and corrected it...... Sorry, cc. Link to comment
chris_conrad 0 Posted January 14, 2005 13Jan05: Just learned about converting images from RGB to sRGB for web-posting. So this is a better version I just up-loaded. cc Link to comment

forrest_andrew 0 Posted September 27, 2005 i don't know why i haven't yet commented on this photo. i've specifically come to your page to look at this on several separate occasions. it's a favorite of mine among the thousands i've viewed on this site. the reflection, light, leading lines, wide angle, vertical composition, and most importantly, the strong and powerful central location of the tower makes for a unique and memorable image. just awesome!!
