Photograph was taken with a Woca 120 using Arista 120 Medium format

film. Once it was developed in my home lab, I scanned it on a

flatbed scanner to obtain this look. Photograph is of the O'Brien

Cemetary dirt road that leads to the cemetary far back into the

woods.

I really like the image although I would recommend doing a better scan. If you know of anyone who has a Imacon scanner (not a flatbed) that would give you better quality. I like the edges looks like it was shot with a Holga! Good job.

Thank you for your comments. I would print this photo however I do not have a Medium format carrier for my Enlarger, and actually I do not have an Enlarger that will every be able to print this size negative. I might get one soon, but we shall see. I decided to scan the negative with my Epson Flatbed scanner just to see what it would look like, and came up with this photo. I like the look of the photo so that is why I want to put up a series of these and then take them to the gallery. What I might do, is create a transparency negitive with my inkjet and sandwich it between glass and the photo paper and see what kind of quaility I get from that. Eventurally, just because I love to experiment with photography I will get a Holga Enlarger. For a mere $139.00 I can get a very nice B&W Holga Enlarger that come with both a 35mm and 120/220 carrier along with 50mm and 75mm lens for the Enlarger. Using the Loop my negative is very clear, More experimenting needs to be done, thanks again for the feedback !

Have a great day !

Hi Duane,

I absolutely enjoy film images. I stopped formally shooting film a few years ago, but I first shot film 54 year ago.

I have many old film shots taken on Panatomic-X film using various format cameras showing roadside scenes with tress and landscape. You image just might inspire me to scan them into my data base.

I removed just a little of the background scatter, to see what the image would look like.

I am not certain that what I did was any improvement, since I like your posting as is.

Best Regards,  Mike
