Woman on Beach

I have mixed feelings on this image. There are many things I like: the colours, the way she blends into the image thanks to the colours themselves and the skilled composition, the way she looks into the landscape (this is a classical of mines as you know). I like also the way from a dark-ish foreground we move into the sea where light is present but mostly on the waves and then off in the hazy horizon.

The problems for me start with the seagulls... too many and in the wrong places. The walking one, being in the light and in the centre attracts my eye too much... a competition with her. The flying one might be ok if it was flying more in the empty sky opposite to her... where it is now it is a bit non-functional in filling the sky.
