This was a difficult capture but I think it's one of my finer

pieces. I'm curious as to how you feel about this photo as art -

your honest critique is appreciated!

I appreciate your take at humor, but as far as rating goes... this is a 1/1. If I were rating your comment on the photo, however.. I'd give it a 7/7

Hallo Don. Gradation is great but contrast is a bit low, due to that. I know it is difficult with this subject and these lighting conditions but maybe you could have used some black light?

Normally I also do not like frames, but I must admit, this one is inevitable.

Best regards

Wow, 1/1's? What's the justification? That's fine, but I look at this landscape shot as a beautiful abstract interpretations from a unique perspective often found in Minnesota snow storms. To me, it's all about the realism the strikes fear in the driver or the person at home not knowing how high the snow will pile up and how long they will be confined. There's much realism. So, does the 3/3 rule really apply and is it truly necessary to stay within the normal confines of what is deemed as "good" photography? I'm just looking for truly objective feedback. A 1/1 rating is harsh and I'm not sure this fits in that category. Perhaps I'm thinking too much into this style of photographic arts?

You expect more than 1/1 for a white canvas? Come on now. Be realistic. If you are going for humor, then yeah.. 7/7.. But for anything else, 1/1 stands.
