christine_hysell 0 Posted November 11, 2004 Can you give the details on how you did this? Its a wonderful image and the color is great. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 11, 2004 Todd, I'm a sucker for this type of abstract. I love the fall colors and the mood. If you have the same shot without the movement, I wonder what it would look like layered over this ("sandwiched")-not as an improvement, just an alternative. This is fine as is. Link to comment
toddlaffler 0 Posted November 11, 2004 I have this same image (unblurred) in my Autumn folder if you want to look at that as a reference point. That's what I started with. From there it is VERY simple...just apply a motion blur in PS at the 90 degree angle. Just play around until you get what you like. Thanks Todd Link to comment
toddlaffler 0 Posted November 11, 2004 thank you for the suggestion. I played around with that idea for a little in PS and I'm on the fence about it. I go from liking it better to not liking, but it was a good thought nonetheless. Thank you Todd Link to comment
vertigoclimb 5 Posted November 11, 2004 Todd, You've done it again! All your photos are a real treat and wonderful to see. This is exceptional in many ways. It typifies a "great" abstract, has good use of space, form, and it's colorfully vivid. My hat is off to you. You are a talented man... Link to comment
alex_kew 0 Posted November 12, 2004 I have a similar shot, done the old fashioned way - move the camera in a vertical direction, with 2 sec shutter. Please take a look, it's in my Single Photo's folder Link to comment
