henrimanguy 0 Posted November 9, 2004 This is the only covered bridge in Venice. In fact it is not a bridge for the passage of ordinary people like all the 464 other bridges in the town. It is built between the Palace and the prison and was used by the prisonners when they were leaded to their last residence. That is why it is called the "Bridge of sighs". maurik 0 Posted November 9, 2004 The light is interesting, but it seems to me that too much detail is lost due to the overexposed bridge, which seems to be the main topic here. I like the shadows and the play of light on the water. Link to comment
photos of hans koot 0 Posted November 9, 2004 Maurik is right, there is enough detail though, in ps it can easily be corrected by toning it down with levels locally. good shot if you improve it a bit. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted November 12, 2004 Thank you for your comments. This is the same problem I have explaind about the "Ponte Storto" shot: The screen of my personnal MacIntosh seems to decrease the high levels and on it I don't see this slight overexposure. I think there is something to do... one of these days. Link to comment
