ada-ipenburg 0 Posted November 8, 2004 A really beautiful shot, Wim! I have to think at the surrounding of the canals in Utrecht (Tolsteegplantsoen). But of cours this wunderful place could be excist everywhere. But however, with this spheerful composition you've brought me in a very sentimental mood because it reminds me at our beautiful birthplace Utrecht. Thank you for it!And what concerns the frame, that's very nice, it's a sort of repetion of the weeping-willow structure; a bit hazy. Excellent my dear brothter. Great! 7/7 Link to comment
wim.ipenburg 0 Posted November 8, 2004 Thanks Ada, I like this shot too. This place is about 100 meters away from my office, in Geldermalsen. I made this picture at lunchtime. Link to comment
wheely 0 Posted November 8, 2004 A really lovely scene which is soft and colourfull. Nicely composed and relaxing too. The border utterly destroys it for me though. It changes it from a soft image to a harsh image which, for me, doesn't work. Link to comment
wim.ipenburg 0 Posted November 8, 2004 Thanks Mark for your lovely comment, I'll try it by the next one without a border. Link to comment

tc_reed 0 Posted November 9, 2004 Simply beautiful. I most like your personal touch you added in your framing and edges. The blurring really makes it all stand out that much more. Link to comment
wim.ipenburg 0 Posted November 9, 2004 Thanks TC Reed. It's fine you like the frame too, but not everybody is agree with you. Link to comment

robertmarleau 0 Posted November 10, 2004 Wim, this is a very delightful one, and the idea of blurring the frame is very original it is like the ''rayons de soleil''coming from the left Link to comment
