Once again, you have demonstrated that it is possible to obtain a satisfactory detailed image of a painting on display in a museum. From personal experience, I can tell you that avoiding reflections can be one of the biggest hurdles, when photographing paintings. Polarising filters in front of the lens and light sources are one of the remedies to overcome this, but when recording details like this one above, you also reduce the chances of those pesky highlights in the canvas...
