Great to have you back. I've missed your input. So that's where you went! You lucky dog. Paid to travel to such exotic places that very few of us ever see. This, my friend, is very much up to your standards. Very interesting and well executed silhouette. Love the golden tones.

Excellent work. Perfect exposure and great composition. You have positioned the sun perfectly in the frame. I particularly liked the the way you composed and framed the tree on the left of the frame to change the monotony and symmetry of the whole shot. Nice colors. Regards.

The water looks a little choppy must have been a bit breezy. My guess, Mr. World Traveler, is that we will be seeing many beautiful and exotic images like this one over the comming days. Congratulations, well done.

CR: There is a great geometrical idea! Its not inflexible for you didnt place the building into the center. CL: Dont know if you wanted the lower part of the building as a silhouette or as a structured one. The "between" doesnt seem to be a good solution. Greetings, RE

Really appreciate the welcome, folks. ^_^ Yeah, the, "Chaopraya Express" was cruising along at a good clip, and that's all I can snap while on the boat. Henri, I did tried to do a symetrical approach with everything centered and squared up. To perfect, I thought. May be I'll post that version up in a bit.

Thanks again, y'all. Miss this a bunch!

Wilson- how majestic. The gold tones make this very regal. I, also, have missed you! Glad you are home safe and sound!

The almost 50/50 diagonal split on this works well, I think because of the 1/3 split on the vertical. Does that make sense? Anyway- the reflections in the water of the rising or setting sun, in combination with the wonderful shapes of the silhouettes, makes this a wonderful image. The slight blur in the water implies movement, I like the implication. Nice job!

Jayme, Alec, Kim, thanks for your feedback. Yes, Alec. BKK itself has gone through tremendous changes in the past decade. Nevertheless, other than additional highrises (...sigh...) the sceneries along the Chaopraya river remain pretty much the same. ^_^
