I am not sure the use of negative space was properly done here. Also I am not sure the dead center placement of the subject has a purpose. The lack of separation definition between the subject and background is also considered a minus. I would have tried cropping out the left hand side to show more area where the subject is looking, to give the image flow and direction.

I love the mood and tones of this very much. Nicely done!
