dsphoto 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Would like to see in natural environ. Nature should be in nature, not studio. Flash in eyes may be distracting... Link to comment
romeyer.jp 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Sorry dave, but first this shot has well been taken in nature and NOT in studio, and second I did not use any flash...light was natural, background was dark...and light analysis was a spot mesure on the bird... next time ask shot conditions before you place your critic... Thanks to Kim for his comment Link to comment
greg s 4 Posted November 2, 2004 This is an excellent photo regardless of circumstance, and especially good if out in the field. Would be interested to know what lens was used. Also, I like the dark background... creates a unique look and frames the bird's light plumage nicely. Good work! :) Link to comment

aramat57 3 Posted February 15, 2008 Well done! Owls are magnificent birds, aren't they? You have captured great feather detail for such a soft bird. Best regards, Tammy Link to comment
davidmorrow 0 Posted March 26, 2008 Exquisite. I've seen barns owls but never got close enough to them to see their magnificent detail. Thank you so much for this photo. Link to comment
eliza_leahy 0 Posted August 19, 2008 This is elegant and beautiful. It's as if he were modeling for you! Like you told him "stay... a little more turn on your head.... right!" I'm an artist from Australia, you can see my work at www.elizasart.com I'm looking for wildlife pictures to use as reference for my art, and was wondering if I would be allowed to use this picture? I would give you credit for the photo, of course. I hope to hear from you soon! Eliza www.elizasart.com Link to comment
