I've always wanted to photograph a chicken or rooster, but never had the opportunity. Not sure why I would want to, except that it's a bird and has such a unique look. I think you've captured this strange bird very well, Ken.

Ken- It works for me. The placement in the frame, the blurred backround, and the color and detail all work to make this a super image. Now where's the old hen? LOL Nice job!

How can a bird be so beautiful and ugly at the same time? Plus these aniamls are a source of food. Yuk! Well done photo.

Very good bokeh, composition and colors. Crisp sharp. The subject however is very common in Asia so perhaps not many will give it a second glance. ^_^ Eh......I mean just the rooster not the excellent quality of the image
