I know many consider 50mm 1.4s superfluous, but this shot, handheld

at an 1/8th of a second, makes mine worthwhile. I also think 50mm is

a better portrait lens than its let off to be. It just shows more

depth in the subject. All this coming from the photographer who

bought a 135 to compress his ex girlfriends nose. I'm half kidding.
