sabshire 0 Posted November 1, 2004 Nice shot. I have always loved the scenery on the parkway when I would travel that way. There are some truly spectacular views along that stretch of highway. I can't wait till next year when we visit my parents in FL... I plan on making a few stops along the interstate 77 going south to get some views of the panoramas to the east. Hopefully we will have some good sunrise/early morning shots. Link to comment
r_e 0 Posted November 2, 2004 CR: Strong! You feel the power of the tree, permeating the fog. And you got an aesthetical fragment of it. The stones are different enough in colour, structure and direction!, so that they build an interesting complement. CL: I would prefer a frame... RE Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Thanks for your idea, but on my lap top I can't see much of a difference, if any. I'll have to check it our on our pc. Thanks again, Sondra Link to comment

dominiquedodge 0 Posted November 2, 2004 I like the sense of depth that's apparent from the darker and lighter branches. The foreground provides a frame and works well with the lowest branches to make for an excellent composition. I can feel the dampness in my bones! PS i don't like the PSed version with added yellow. Prefer the original. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted November 2, 2004 Sondra, on second thoughts my version doesn't improve your original so I've deleted it! But as I said before - a beautiful shot! I particularly like the composition with the tree shape and the foreground wall. - regards Colin Link to comment
anish 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Excellent! The composition and the contrast between the rocks and the tree in fog is just right. Perfectly exposed. 7/7 -Anish Link to comment

sef1664877429 0 Posted November 3, 2004 Ah, now this is atmosphere. Wonderful. My crop... just a spookier alternative, but I love the original... Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted November 4, 2004 I like the original, but think I like the b&w version even more! Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted November 4, 2004 The cropping makes the tree evil looking, but I tend to like it. The B/W version is good too. Sondra Link to comment
gephilot 0 Posted November 4, 2004 Very, very impressive. Touching. Like a good dream. I like so much all composition. Congratulations. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted November 10, 2004 Lovely composition, Sondra. The rockery in the foreground, and the foggy condition really conveyed depth effectively. Nicely done. ^_^ Link to comment
