cts 0 Posted November 1, 2004 This picture was hard to finalize. I spent a long time to rotate itclockwise to compensate a slight tilt. Finally, I left it as is. I think the tilting is due to perspective,as the picture was taken from a higher point of view from the right ofthe buildings.Do you think it needs some rotation ? Link to comment
daydreamer 0 Posted November 3, 2004 rotation? no way, its really nice but i would prefer a panoramic point of view. great shot (b&w) Link to comment
ricardo navarro 0 Posted February 14, 2005 That tilt is the convergence of verticals given by tilting the camera, in this case towards the bottom since the camera was tilted downwards, the reverse happenning when it is tilted upwards. The effect is far less pronounced with a telephoto lens, as in here, but can be quite extreme with a wideangle (have a look at the link below for an example), that is why we get those shift lenses for architecture. Allowing for this, the picture is actually slightly tilted counter-clockwise, but anyway this is hardly noticeable to worry about it IMO, and overall the shot is gorgeous. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3077725 Link to comment
