I REALLY like this! Some will tell you its too dark, but its got great lighting. I'd be interested in the details on how you shot this - presumably you metered from the facial skin tones? I love the tones on the guitar. The only thing I might suggest is a tighter crop as there is a lot of space at the bottom. Very very nice, and from one concert photographer to another, I don't usually say that!!

i generally shoot either manually after doing a meter reading on the face if the lights don't change all that much or shoot on aperture priority and stick it on between 1.8 and 3.2 and let the shutter speed decide itself.

 

for this one, I can't remember which way I used it but it was at:

1/60th f2 iso800

wonderful light, expressive moment, interesting composition, good parallel lines with mike and guitar, well isolated. a very well done shot.
