rkimshultz 0 Posted October 31, 2004 I actually like this one better than the first submission. I believe that a little more foreground works better. Great Shot! Kim Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted October 31, 2004 Thanks Kim... I actually like this one better too... though it is a bit dark, I think it has a warmer feel. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted October 31, 2004 I'm with Kim - I like the darker, warmer tones. Very nice, Regina. Link to comment

1000wordsphotography 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Technical details???? me???? Let's see...I crouched in the wet grass to get a lower perspective. I took the shot using the camera's auto settings because I was in a hurry...this area was posted as private property and I was afraid of getting shot at by some angry farmer! This was hand held. I hate dragging a tripod around, though I know I should. Post processing: I adjusted the contrast, color saturation and cloned out some leaves floating on the water. Cropped a bit off the top to remove some sky. Unsharpmask. PS frame. Done. No filters, this light is the sun rise. Link to comment
lgreene 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Just speaking from experience: those farmer men are usually down right friendly when they find women in their pastures..No worries! Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted November 2, 2004 LOL at your tech details, Regina .... early morning again ... I just think the only information I miss: were you alone or was your your husband with you sitting in the car and giving you good advices this time too? Wether he was or he was not it is a great scenery you have captured here. Very warm in the colors and very beautiful. Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted November 3, 2004 OH yes Bente, my husband was in the truck, rushing me a bit as he was afraid we would be in trouble for tresspassing on private property... something I do not recommend by the way. He is a good sport, chaufering me around the back roads of North Carolina at ungodly hours of the morning. He has always been a morning person and over the years (27 years together!) he has taught me to see how much I had been missing by sleeping in. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted November 3, 2004 Regina- we must have gone to the same photography school! LOL Love your technical details. I like the hole created by the folage and the reflections. Gives me the "peek" I was looking for. NIce job! Love the colors. Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted January 2, 2005 Gorgeous fall shot ! Many thanks for your tech details ;-) I emphatize with you - so often I have to hurry up, my wife waiting ahead when we walk around. Link to comment
fred_j._lord 0 Posted February 13, 2005 Hi Regina: I haven't posted for a while as I have been flitting from web site to web site trying them all on for size. So far, none fit too well. The fox was actually just posted not too long ago. I just posted a Mule Deer Fawn as well. Truthfully, I am using Photo.net as a staging area for another site. This is a gorgeous image and even though you felt rushed you managed to do it right as usual. The colors are magnificent and the composition is up to your high standards. Hope all are well and I too miss the Rowell Circle. It was fun! Link to comment
