John Crowe 165 Posted October 30, 2004 I have tried several crops of this. I removed the top third of the frame, which was all the same tree and leaves, to emphasize the formation of leaves in the foreground. I can't decide if the grouping of three leaves in the bottom right corner should stay or go. Let me know what you think. Link to comment
peter_cane1 0 Posted October 30, 2004 It's a great photo, and a great crop. Removing the three seems to add some more depth to the photo giving the fallen leaves a little bit more focus. But I like it the other way too- you almost get the sense that they are in the process of falling. Link to comment
awaraagard 0 Posted October 30, 2004 this is brilliant. autumn gold. yes, removing the top definitely worked here...laying more emphasis on the front leaves & the main subject. fantastic colors. Link to comment
trunfio 0 Posted July 1, 2008 This is a great image John. What would make this really awesome is to photoshop out the three leaves on the right and reshoot with the foreground leaves in focus too. But I'd love to see this printed large and hanging somewhere. Bravo. Link to comment
