Ok, I see what your trying to do by using the gutter on the ground to lead the eye down... but your subject arent that interesting.. Theres no story.. Black and white for this photo feels as if it was a cover up for such an average shot. The younger mans expression is what draws my attention, and I think thats what drew you to the attention to take this photo. However, I feel no connection to the way you have captured this gaze. Perhaps a crop out of all showing above the mans head (to exclude all unneccessary information. That way the viewer sees only a square image of the 2 men on these seats. THAT would help in connecting the viewer to the subjects. I hope you understand what I mean... if not, just try cropping this image (just above younger mans head) to see what I mean... thanks ;)
