Parthasarathi 0 Posted October 29, 2004 A 16th century Hindu Temple of goddess Laxmi-the goddess of wealth, built by the then king of Tripura, a small state in Northeastern India. On the verge of destruction. No attempt so far by the state or central govt. to preserve it. Link to comment
d_price 0 Posted October 29, 2004 Nice, I like it. I was just wondering if the grounds surrounding the temple would of provided more for the shot? It seems a bit tight. Was it in a jungle or something? I like the border too, keeps with the theme of the shot. Link to comment
lightwriting by swapan 0 Posted October 29, 2004 Very good capture Partha. For those who are interested, I know this structure as I come from the same place. Ihere is NO perspective distortion- the temple IS actually tilted due to soil erosion as it stands on the steep bank of the river Gomti ! There is a bluish cast on the building. Artifact, due to slide to digial conversion ? Once again, well done Link to comment
