hashim a 0 Posted October 29, 2004 When I saw the thumbnail I wasn't expecting the very nice colors actually presented. Especially the blues in the glass. Very nicely metered and exposed. Link to comment
vorlandphotography 0 Posted October 29, 2004 This is especially impressive in the largest view. Bravo! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 31, 2004 Handheld at 1/15th and still sharp....I'm jealous! I like the cool blues of the windows framed by the warm colored archetectural details. Great job to expose this so well. I imagine this was a tough place to shoot. Well done. Beautiful dome! Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted November 3, 2004 You did an amazing job without a tripod, by all means. I really appreciate the way you have exposed this shot (details on metering decisions would be appreciated) and the net result. I like the large amount of light at the bottom of the picture and the way it is balanced by the shining stars in the ceiling of the chapel. I find really interesting the way details in the stained-glass window are not only retained but even enhanced by the low-light environment just around the drawing. On a side note, there is something odd, most likely due to a non-PC (prospective correction) lens in that the chape ceiling seems to fall off to the left... but I guess this is unavoidable...
