Thanks to all of you for stopping by. No frost here yet...this is fom last year, but I just thought I'd get in the mood.

Good eye! I love the way leaves look with that light frost on them. You picked a nice arrangement, and I assume you didn't re-arrange anything because it would probably show up in the frost. :)

Well, maybe it's not so bad ending up with more than you started out with.

And a beautiful frost it was--but the lateness of the date astonishes me, Hanna. I know that you get a lot of maritime air coming in from the west, but I still thought that it would get colder than that well before November 20. In the southeastern U.S., we usually get our first freeze in early November--and even earlier up in the mountains.

 

As for the photo, it is very delicate, but I think that it is the colors underneath the ice which makes it really work.

Double seven from me. This image is just plain beautiful, delicate, and restful to behold. Looking at it relieves tension. Thank you.

LOL, Lannie, you've caught me out! I have to confess I guessed at the date because this was taken last year, and I haven't figured out how to delete that damn date slot on my upload page. But I can't be far wrong because I do remember this was partiuclarly cold weather which wouldn't come before November. We haven't really had a hard frost yet this year, just a whole lot of rain.
