I like this image a lot. The composition is right on. What I find most interesting is the color tones you choose. It seems to fit the subject to a "T". Overall very well done. Congratulations.

IMO, Craig is one of the best local and regional jazz guitarists around Louisville. I'm proud to have publicly played with him on more than one occasion. This shot was from a private performance of his and his group, the Java Men, in my home recording studio for a few friends. And, I got to sit in with the pros and got a really nice recording!

Ken- this is super. I always like to see what lens is being used, so....what lens? Nice contrast and is the blur from the lens or PS. Either way it looks great! Nice image, love the way the guitar crosses the image in a perfect diagonal!

Here's the original, untouched as it rolled out of the camera. Lens is Canon 16-35 USM f2.8. As you can see, I did a gaussian blur on the background and used the dreaded on board flash. SS 1/60, f3.5, focal length 33, pattern metering, ISO 200. Thanks for your interest and comment. I'm gonna try to start listing more detail about my posts.
