Icy reflections

Just an iceberg... I found the light and the reflection interesting,

but I do not know if there is enough for a picture, so I might delete

it... advise is welcome. In particular, I felt it nice if slightly

centered, as it is, to stress more the symmetry of the scene...comments?

it's depending on the iceberg wether it's too simple...this one is appealing, softly speaking, by centering you stress it's sculpture-like character, a good one!

Left me a little cold( no pun intended) to start with, but its growing on me. I think its the dark area surrounding the reflection that just makes it work. I might crop off a little at the top, though, to match the amount of black at the bottom.

I do like the almost pure abastract nature of this. The darkness sets off the whites well. It also takes the image out of time and place to some extent.

Salvatore, I really am beginning to appreciate your photographs, which seem to often celebrate the power, ruggedness, and severity of nature. I wish I could have come along on your Norwegian adventure--your photos have made me put Norway up close to the top of places to visit in the next few years!

Very nice Salvatore. The lighting from the left lends a dramatic flare IMHO.

It's simplicity is what draws. Blue-green-white against black with green aurora beaming through.

 

I think the rise on the left decenters it nicely. Please don't delete. ( :
