sef1664877429 0 Posted October 22, 2004 How about this instead... purple is very strong when compared to the white and grey, so less purple and more of the other stuff. Also decreased the saturation by -18, not a lot, but takes some of the edge off the purple. Cropped some of the left side off as well. Slight increase in brightness and contrast. Agree or disagree? salvatore.mele 1 Posted October 23, 2004 Stephen, you are for sure right in that there is too much purple in here. I might have a try for the saturation, but I feel uncomfortable at doing so. The main problem is that, with the sun low behind the sail, and added reflections from the water below, these WERE the colours of the thing! I like your crop, though... although it makes me think a bit of a flag. I will be posting more of these a day: I shot a full roll to the sail... plenty of -all similar-looking- abstracts... I guess we're ready for the orange part of the sail, though. Link to comment
