adrianhinojosa 0 Posted October 21, 2004 Clever image - it puts the brain en-garde because we have 'learned' by experiance what the scale of these items should be in relation to each other and here you challange what the brain knows which makes this a bit disorienting. Its enough to catch the viewers attention for a moment while the brain is trying to sort it out. Some might even think aloud - what the f!@#? Link to comment
cappoldt 0 Posted October 22, 2004 Brilliant. I LOVE it! Sorry to see Faith came through and found this so lacking in originality. I truly don't understand why that person rates so low with no sharing of suggestions. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 24, 2004 This pic is very well done but a bit too close to this pic to show much originality. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1277757 Link to comment
audah 0 Posted October 24, 2004 Thanks all for comments. For Paul, I think my image has different concept with Ben's image. I knew Ben's images very well and he also one of my favorite artists in PN. But, when I created this image, I didn't think about his. So it's up to the people to judge...is it original or not? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 24, 2004 Whether you thought about it or not, being a Ben fan, as i am...you couldn't help that influence. You must admit the similarity and unfortunatly, unlike landscape or general photography, CONCEPT has much more bearing dealing with surealism than a sunset. Not very many are capable of judging a very well done piece of art like this from a teckno end, other than is it convincing..... originality of subject comes very much into play. Consider the George Harrison song "my sweet lord". He was sued for copyright infringe of "he's so fine"..Chiffons. Sounds maybe a bit like it, not very much, very close to this similarity. Chiffons won $100 million. But Ben prob won't sue ya he's busy working on the next reality.... if only you had used a tiger, or elephant...a hippo!!!!....ya i wanna hippo in a spoon!!....didn't i give you a7/7 for this? anayabladewind 0 Posted July 19, 2007 It really has original thought in it. The first thing that came into my mind was "how would you like your coffee?" Link to comment
