Snow Covered Slough

First attempt to deal with photographing snow on the slough...

Nice, a subtle hint of direction, although not as surreal as your usual.

Promising. I like the foreground better than the sky in this shot, but because the foreground is not so detailed, I think it probably calls for a more uniform sky, preferably more white than blue. Now that will be minimalist. All-blue sky could also work.

 

I suspect also that as more snow piles on, the foreground interest may be lessened, so you'd better act soon.

Sky is leading in nicely, so is the wind. Initially i thought that horizontal might work better here but i doubt it after i gave it more time. Regards,
