kslonaker 0 Posted October 20, 2004 I like this better than the color version you had posted before. I didn't get a chance to rate or comment before it was changed, but I think this is an improvement. One little thing - a string in the rose thingie on the collar of her dress could be cloned out. (Don't know why I notice those little things like that!). :) Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted October 20, 2004 Certainly that's how Norman Rockwell would've approach a portrait. Well done, Howard. BTW, would a sepia version work, too? Hmmm... ^_^ Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted October 20, 2004 Did I miss the color version? I have to admit, Howard, that I like many of your portraits and many of your high-key images better than this. Not that I don't like this one ... it just doesn't stand out for me. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted October 20, 2004 Howard- I love the hat! Of course I love all hats on other people! I look horrible in a hat! LOL. Besides the little string thing Kim mentioned, I would even out the blotchy cheek. She must have freckles, right? I also might add some additional catch lights to the lower part of the eyes to add some depth. She looks a little hesitant, not your usual relaxed portrait. Nice high key effect as usual, you are the master! Link to comment
