Gary, your compositions are pretty doggone good. But all of these raptor shots I`ve looked at so far are soft focus. Is that on purpose? I rate this one 6/5. Best regards, -Jim

Part of the problem is the photographer. But I hope most of it is that I'm uploading The thumbnail proofs that I get from my lab. The 8x10 that I had made of this shot looks much better. Also, I am cropping from a 400asa neg.

Gary, of all the Barn Owl shots I think this is the best one. It really makes you wonder what's on it's mind.
