Tilted Fashion

 

I have a little bit of a reputation for 'tilting' the camera when photographing people. However, I feel that this works well in this case.

 

Do you agree? Feedback appreciated on this or any of my photos!

Your photos have a very nice signature look to them. I like the balance of sex appeal and innocence wrapped up in this one.

Well, it's definetely a McCracken, with the tilt and all :-)

Don't get me wrong, I think this works very well, and I like the tilt very much. I think you've developped your own personal style, and you absolutely should continue in that direction. (Did I say nice lighting, by the way? :-) )

oh, forgot to say that I like the triangular relation between the face, the tatoo and the thingy attached to her top (what would you call that?)! Thats what makes the picture work for me

Your model has such an expressive face that I'd call this a portrait. Her look is FAR more drawing than the clothes and the hands undiong the pants are adding a narrative that disctracts from the garments. As a portrait I like it. As fashion, it's not really. IMHO

Great pose here, David... dynamic, cute and flirty - you obviously worked really well with this model. A minor suggestion though would be to have her a standing a tiny bit further away from the background to reduce that faint shadow there, that way she would stand out in an even more striking way against the white. Otherwise a really nice job...

Scoota, Your words are kind. I am not sure I deserve them, however, in this particular case I think that the model does.

Beautiful lady and beautiful tilt. You must return to the East and resume where you left off, soon.

 

The angle is excellent giving a great diagonal line and the overall position in the frame is excellent.

This is one of these photos that I really like myself. It is a real treat when someone with your skills and eye give such positive comments. I may have other photos of this girl. I will certainly have a look to see if any are of sufficient quality to upload!
