The soul of a lyric poet

This portrait is, according to the rules, a failed one. Focus is off (actually is about 5 cms behind on the collar of the tee shirt and his hair's curls). In spite of it it has been chosen by his editor to be used in the poet's last book, soon to be published...

Felix Grande is a widely published and awarded poet.

He is also, probably, the best historian and theoretician about flamenco music. Married to the poetress Paca Aguirre and father to the also writer and poet Guadalupe.

It just shows the value of ratings! Congratulations on getting it published. Photo.net ratings and comments are given on a very narrow set of criteria and only rise above this when the subject is one that everyone can relate to. When the circumstances of this shot are understood then the portrait becomes more powerful.
