Guest Guest Posted October 18, 2004 Interesting! Clearly this young man is either mad at you or simply doesn't trust you. Link to comment

g2imaging 0 Posted October 20, 2004 The key is NOT to use Photoshop. Photoshop is a crutch for those uninterested in proper exposure. It can certainly be a good tool but certainly not the end all be all. Try shooting good images on film and then you will know how good a photographer you are. I shoot 90% digitally and ONLY use it to touch up a zit or increase levels a bit. Oh yeah, much easier to crop then sending to a lab. I'm interested in seeing how you can juice this image up without it looking like Photoshop eye candy. Thanks Link to comment
brandy scarberry 0 Posted October 21, 2004 I emailed it to you, and all I did was retouch it. I am not saying that every photo needs photoshop, but this one does IMO. You had another one in this folder that was very nice of this same guy. Better skin tones and all. I will have to say that messing with this photo's skin tones was hard, because instead of getting warmer, he looked like he was getting sunburned, but never the less, Its just a suggestion:) I meant no offense:) Link to comment
g2imaging 0 Posted October 21, 2004 Read this to learn how to color balance skin: http://www.carlvolk.com/photoshop18.htm You need to know some color theory before you can apply it to Photoshop. Link to comment
