Pentre Ifan Standing Stones

These stones are tall and the gap in the centre was used as a shelter by men on horses. I

was there at the end of a hot sunny day, but fortunately by staying late the sky developed

and the visitors disappeared.

Beautiful shot, Gary, and the sky is very good giving a nice diagonal composition ending up at those recumbent stones. I find the fence post lower right keeps attracting attention. This is a place I wasn't aware of. Looks interesting. Are there many megalithic sites in Wales?

In addition to the outstanding technical level as from the rock texture and texutres in the sky, I like a little detail: the airplane trace and it way it contrasts with the timeless megalithic site...
